A writer is a person
Who sees the world differently
From a high perspective of understanding
To an easily balanced imagery

They stand at the edge of the cliff

They learn the rules, follow the rules, and will break the rules
And make writing their own

Broken Birds and Stark PhrasesWe slip and slide and fall
down curves and carrow places.
We cursive at the wall

Disjointed limbs extend

Merry nightmare monsters,

just for the sound--for the words lilting up and down
and the thick, honeysepia
polaroids unmisting in my head.
those are the poems i never understand
and the only conclusion i can draw is:
there is apparently
some supernova poetic awakening that comes

he must write it with his own blood and tears for ink
his soul the sharpened quill to nail the words
like so many specimen of unwilling insects upon the paper.

becoming the cause of his own demise

Serendipity--Thorn's Chapter 1: The Room   Thorn wakes up in a strange room. She swears and checks for her blades. She finds her blades on her. The room She's in looks like a boiler room. Thorn examines the room more closely and looks for an exit. There are tons of pipes, all of which are hot. Steam gets in the way from time to time. The place is pretty hot, hot enough to make you sweat. The room is large, almost a maze of pipes. However, at one point she sees stairs leading up.
   Thorn goes up the stairs. It takes her time to find the path to the stairs, but after what feels like forever, she makes it up. Opening the door, Thorn finds herself in what looks like a high school hallway. Thorn looks around the hallway. Then begin walking down the hall way grumbling swear words.
   The hall is well lit with lots of doors leading to classrooms, she seems to be at the end of one hall. To the left, some ways off there's a girls and boys bathroom. Even further away are a few windows, but there's no lig

Late Night Musings #6Why is the apple always red and never green?
in most kids stuff, they say that the apple is red, but they don't really mention green apples. i like green apples. don't the maker of kid toys like green apples? what about orange or yellow apples? and what about the weird genetically altered apples that taste like grapes or other things?
oh, fatigue. you make me think of weird things.

Serendipity--Lynn's Chapter 1: The Room   Lynn finds herself in an unfamiliar room. She gets up and loosk at her surroundings, and wonders how she got here. As she looks around Lynn notices that she's in a large, well lit hall. The kind you might expect to be in a museum. While the walls and edges have the artistic flair of an architect's hand, there dosn't appear to be anything on the walls, nor any show cases. The floor appears to be marble. The hall stretches out to her left and to her right.
   "Oh crap... I hate museums..." Lynn takes the path down the right side of the hall.
How did I get here...
   Lynn looks for other people around and calls out, "Hello?" She hears an echo down the creepy hallway

This is fascinating! I think dreams can die any number of ways, but they CAN come true. I beilieve this with every fiber of my being or I would give up dreams forever.
