Did you know the universe is finite?
That one day all the stars and sunsWill be pulled beyond our view
Or simply use up all their fuel.If it should all end that way
We will lose our lightWe shall lose our warmth
All will freeze and be torn apart.
Did you know the universe is finite?
That one day strings will snap
And that’ll be that
The universe will collapse.
We’ll be compressedTo the size of an atom
Then smaller stillTill all is gone.
Did you know reality is finite?
It’s all in our minds
For when the time comes
When we all die
All else will follow.
No one to think and find
No one to hold up reality.
It will simply all be gone

glad you like though.
I like poetry like this, truth needs to be heard, no matter how bad it hurts sometimes.
glad you liked.
Some people can't or won't accept that fact that all will end one day, that's all
it's very easy to think life will go on because we generally don't feel an immediate threat plenty of things.
People like to remain in the dark; many would rather think that everything is fine, when its not the case. People either are unwilling or unable to accept reality, which leads to apathy which causes a plethora of more and more issues.
We already know that an asteroid will be in a direct collision for the earth some time in the future, and people have thought up ways to possibly avoid that fate. But you don't see the world in total anarchy or peace. Similarly, we know when the sun will use up the last of it's fuel, expand and then retract into a dwarf star. But because such things are so far in the future we have little reason to think of it much.
While I do understand that there have been times in human history where we've seen problems and tried to forget about them, eventually it's shouted loud enough that it has to be dealt with, attention is drawn to it and people will begin to do something.
As it is,from what I know of this, there isn't enough known about dark matter--a component in the theory's of the big squeeze and big rip--for us to really say much. As it is, it's too an abstract way to go and far away enough that it isn't necessarily that people don't want to think about it--some do, some don't--It's that it's not that immediate of a threat nor understood enough.
We can all die tomorrow or in the future, live life to the best.
I am sorry, I would normally provide a much better debate, but I am rather tired and must retire for the night. I look forward to our next conversation.
